A casual setting, fresh produce and handmade pasta seemed to be the perfect fit for Ashley's session. I had visited a half dozen Farmers' Markets in the weeks leading up to the session hoping to find the one that felt most costal. One of Ashley's favorite places on earth is Oregon and we hoped to capture that west coast feel. We chose the Metro Center Farmers Market for their handmade wooden stands, quaint baskets and the huge variety of fruits, vegetables and freshly picked herbs. This kick-started a full day of capturing all the things the Ashley and her twin, Caitlin, love most. We ducked into the crowds of eager Peorians anxiously waiting to fill their baskets with fresh, colorful produce. The vendors were more than excited to offer us various veggies and flowers as props and use of their space for our little adventure. How perfect!
The girls must have inherited their social graces from their mom, Laura because they spent most of the morning casually making friends at the market while I furiously snapped away in the brilliant morning sun.
What's next? ... "Unique yet so similarly sweet ... Location #2 (Caitlin at the Greenhouse)"
