Caitlin is a quiet whirlwind of energy and creativity. Just like the rest of her family she specializes in gracefully juggling 20 different things at a time and doing it with ease that seems at times surreal. Clearly I'm envious.
We have been mulling over ideas for her two senior sessions most of the summer. Not until Saturday afternoon just minutes before did the final details come together in a happy hurricane of dresses, make up and heels. Typically this would make me a nervous wreck not to have an exact plan laid out weeks in advance. I like to visit a location beforehand, make sure each of the selected outfits are PERFECTLY fitting and in colors that are well suited for my subjects. I know I sound a little small bit OCD. OK, super OCD. If I've learned anything in the last 7 years of photographing its that DETAILS MATTER. However another lesson that I've learned and even louder then the first is to TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. This sweet girl and her family never fail to amaze me with how quickly they can gather all the necessary elements for a spectacular photo shoot. So here it is ... my deepest respect! You know I adore you Caitlin.
