I have the privilege every year to photograph some seriously talented students. Taylor and Shelby both seemed to overflow with energy and passion for their sport and I figured I would be hearing there names again soon. This year both of the girls are a second generation of ICC Cougar's Volleyball players. Its cool to see how family members truly shape the next generation and can inspire us all.

How unlikely to photograph the backside of the local market. Here of all places is where I found the background colors we needed and clean modern lines to fit Hayley's bold patterns. I'm not sure if her mom makes friends wherever she goes (I have a strong suspicion she does) but she/we spent 15 minutes chatting up the market employee's in between milk crates and giggles. Navigating loading pallets in wedge heels is more challenging then you'd imagine.
