I had been anticipating our stop at Terrain the entire trip. Wisely placed at the end of the vacation, I had something to look forward to on the twenty-hour drive home. It was grey and ugly by the time we arrived in Glen Mills, PA but I didn't even care. I was surrounded by everything I love. I walked the entire grounds three times. Each time finding new novel items to "Ooo" and "Ahh" over. Decided over lunch in the greenhouse that my future home would have an attached greenhouse of its own and would double as my office. Lunch was beyond perfect and filling too, which is always important. Trying to decide what to take home, I finally settled on Pennsylvania slate garden markers but really I could have been happy with almost anything in the garden shop.
My head was full of ideas driving off, many of which I'm sure will be documented here so, stay tuned for my design overflow.
(No. 01 Glass Greenhouse Cafe - I wish I had better pics of the inside but you can visit their website here, No. 02 Gazebo areas like this were everywhere, No. 03 Bellocq Teas - Mmmm, No. 04 What I wore - I have always loved classic tweed Chanel jackets but couldn't really justify buying one. While shopping at Wish in Newport, RI I found a very similar one by Walter! I proudly danced around the consignment boutique and paid the $37 for my new prize.
So, where to next?? Follow my photo diary to Boston, see you there!
